Job Title: Vice President, Product Portfolio Management
Location: Reno, NV (100% Onsite)
Travel: Up to 6 days per month
Compensation: $200,000/year + benefits

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Product Portfolio Management is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, developing, and executing the organization’s product strategy across its portfolio. This individual will drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, marketing, and end users to ensure successful product innovation and commercialization. The role requires a strong technical foundation, extensive leadership experience, and deep expertise in surgical or clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction and management of the full product portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and end users to deliver innovative, user-centered and patient focused solutions
  • Translate clinical insights and OR experience into actionable product strategies and design requirements
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and successful product launches
  • Provide executive leadership to product management and development teams, fostering innovation and accountability

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering (required)
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct operating room (OR) experience
  • At least 15 years of experience in VP or Director-level R&D leadership roles
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in product definition, development, and execution
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional collaboration across marketing, R&D, and end users
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in medical device technology 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) is a plus

Work Environment:

  • 100% onsite role based in Reno, NV
  • Must be willing to travel up to 6+ days per month
